As we age, the skin on our neck can start to show signs of sagging and loss of elasticity. My neck was really bugging me. To target this area specifically, I incorporated this neck-firming serum into your skincare routine. I was blown away by the difference after 6 weeks of consistent use on my neck and chest. I will never be without it again. Use my code KIRSTEN50 for 50% off your order.
Exfoliating pads can help remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and improve skin texture. It is a common misconception that dry skin does not need to be exfoliated. Gentle exfoliating pads are specifically formulated for sensitive skin. They will effectively lift off dead skin and help all other products work better. I avoid harsh physical exfoliants that can aggravate my rosacea. My preference is to use ingredients like salicylic acid or lactic acid. They exfoliate without causing irritation. I have used these pads for years and will definetely never be without them.
A gentle cleanser is the foundation of any skincare routine for women with dry and sensitive skin. This is a great, non-irritating, soap-free cleanser. It is specifically formulated for sensitive skin. I try to avoid harsh ingredients such as sulfates, fragrances, and alcohol. My preference is a good balm cleanser. It will hydrate and soothe the skin while effectively removing my makeup. This one is my favorite.

Choosing the right moisturizer is crucial for women with dry and sensitive skin. First, look for a moisturizer that is rich in emollients and occlusive ingredients to lock in moisture and create a protective barrier on the skin. Then, search for ingredients like ceramides, shea butter, and glycerin. They are excellent for hydrating and soothing dry, sensitive, and rosacea-prone skin. This cream is so thick, it reminds me of diaper rash cream, but my skin absolutely loves it. It is currently my go-to nighttime moisturizer.
Next, the delicate skin around the eyes requires special attention. I have never found a nighttime eye cream as much as I love this Charlotte Tilbury one. It contains retinol and addresses concerns such as dryness, fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles.
This is my favorite daytime eye cream. It contains ingredients like caffeine and hyaluronic acid, peptides, and antioxidants. It helps to hydrate, plump, and rejuvenate the skin around the eyes and prepare it for makeup. Finally, it also contains a bit of a luminizer for a brightening effect on dark circles.
Using a calming face mask can help reduce redness, inflammation, and sensitivity associated with rosacea. This has been my go-to hydrating mask for a few years now. It really soothes and plumps my skin and gives it a glass-like appearance. I love it for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.
Red light therapy has shown promising results in reducing inflammation, promoting collagen production, and improving overall skin health. It has made the biggest difference in my skin. Using it on a regular basis (daily) has been beneficial for my rosacea. It has helped calm my redness and soothe my skin. This mask is definetely not cheap, but it is worth the investment to me.
A hydrating serum is an essential step in combating dryness and maintaining a healthy moisture balance in your skin. Look for serums that contain hyaluronic acid, a powerful humectant that attracts and retains moisture. This will help plump up the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This Glass Refining Serum calms my skin and gives me that glass-like appearance. I use it with my Dermaroller for maximum results.
Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that can help brighten the skin, even out the complexion, and boost collagen production. Most importantly, look for a vitamin C serum specifically formulated for sensitive skin to avoid irritation. It will absolutely help reduce redness and improve the overall appearance of your skin. This is my absolute favorite one. It remains stable the longest and works the best, in my opinion.
An exfoliating mask can provide a deeper exfoliation and promote skin renewal. For my sensitive skin, I prefer masks with gentle exfoliating agents like enzymes or mild acids that won’t irritate my sensitive skin. This one is absolutely amazing and I use it when my skin is looking a little dull and lackluster and I need to prep for a big event.
Eye patches are a great addition to your skincare routine to provide targeted treatment for under-eye concerns. I use these almost every morning and without a doubt before a big event. They are definitely superior in my opinion and have 3 of them on back up so I never run out. Look for eye patches that are infused with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, collagen, caffeine, or retinol to hydrate, depuff, brighten, and smooth the under-eye area. They can provide an instant boost of hydration and make your eyes appear refreshed and revitalized. An absolute must-have in my book.
Tanning drops are great for a healthy-looking glow and I feel like they definitely camouflage redness in the skin. I prefer a customizable tan I get with these drops and they are a total game-changer. These innovative drops allow you to mix them with your favorite moisturizer, giving you control over the intensity of your tan. The drops come in different shades to suit various skin tones, ensuring a natural-looking color every time.
