I have been feeling under the weather (again) the last couple of days, so I have been making the most delicious immune-boosting mocktail. My whole family loves it and our new nugget ice maker (thank you so much ADU Appliances) comes in so handy for these types of drinks. Nugget ice is truly the best ice for cocktails and mocktails alike and we have been using this thing non-stop. My boys are obsessed. It is super easy to make, with immune-boosting fresh citrus juice and pomegranate juice. Whether you are doing dry January, or just want to give something new a go, this is for you. Cheers! 🥂

WHY POMEGRANATE JUICE IS SO GOOD FOR YOU

Pomegranate juice is packed with nutrients and contains antioxidants at higher levels than many other fruit juices, and it contains nearly three times as many antioxidants as green tea or red wine does. Antioxidants are thought to provide several heart-protecting benefits. It contains large amounts of Vitamin C, boosting immunity, digestive health, and reducing insulin resistance.

Ingredients:

Fresh Citrus – I like using tangerines

Pomegranate Juice

Orange Seltzer

Lime slices

Nugget Ice

Fresh Mint Leaves

How to:

Juice your fresh citrus

Add 2 parts Pomegranate juice

Shake well.

Fill the glass with nugget ice

Pour over nugget ice

Top with seltzer

Add lime slice & fresh mint.
