In the past, I have shared some tried and true Mother’s Day gift ideas of things that I personally own and love. Today, I am doing something a little different and I am sharing what I really want for Mother’s Day this year. Truth be told, what I would love the most is a day spent together with my family, doing something fun. However, why not use the day to gift myself something I have been wanting for a while? What I really want for Mother’s Day this Year
HOTEL LOBBY CANDLE
I have heard so many good things about this candle and have been itching to try it for months. The Miami candle is supposed to be amazing and I also have my eye on the Spa candle. They are not cheap, but this is something I typically would not buy for myself, but would LOVE to receive as a gift. Afterward, I would recycle the jar as a vase, or brush holder. It is so pretty!
BLUSH COOKWARE SET
With the kitchen remodel going strong I have naturally been looking at pretty kitchen things. I bought one of these pans on Amazon a while back and absolutely love it. My husband has also often expressed his affinity for this pan. I was thrilled to find an entire set in a pretty blush color and really, really, really want it for my new kitchen.
TRAVEL MANI SET
I have shared my affinity for the Olive and June manicure set often and when I do my own nails, this is what I use. Also, I absolutely love their color selection and my manicure will last up to 2 weeks. I am so excited about this travel set. It contains everything you need in adorable mini sizes, so you can just throw it in your suitcase and go! Perfection!
NESPRESSO MAKER
We had one of these in our hotel room last year on our Mexico trip and I have been addicted to Nespresso coffee ever since. The only reason I have held off on getting one is that I knew we were going to be doing our kitchen, so I have been patiently waiting to get one. The coffee is so smooth and flavorful and every cup feels special, due to the pretty froth it makes. I can’t wait!
COLLAGEN BODY CREAM
I absolutely LOVE the Bum Bum cream and I have been dying to try out their new collagen body cream. I am truly a sucker for pretty packaging and the pink jar got me! It is supposed to help with dryness and loss of firmness and elasticity. Yes, please! Count me in.
APPLE WATCH
I have been avoiding the Apple watch train for years. I never felt I needed one, until one day, I decided I did. Due to my work, I am always glued to my phone and I would love to be able to go out without it. I have heard so much about some of the great features and I think they would be life-changing for me. Also, being the worrywart that I am, I love the safety aspect it provides.
EAR BUDS
I adore my husband, but he has one flaw….he snores!!! It happens almost every night and is so loud, that my son in the other room even complains. I have migrated to the guest room frequently in order for both of us to get a decent night’s sleep, but these sound like mana from heaven and a seemingly perfect solution to our issue. Further, these would be amazing for travel to cancel out cranky toddlers (bless their little hearts) and loud talkers. They have many 5 star reviews so I have high hopes for them.
PRETTY VASE
I love flowers, don’t get me wrong. I think they finish off any room. But they don’t last forever. This year, I would like my flowers to come in this pretty vase, so I can remember Mother’s Day every time I put a new bouquet into this lovely vessel. It will go perfectly in my new space. Hint, hint! If you are giving flowers, I always think it is a nice touch to give them in a vase. That way, the recipient doesn’t have to find something to put them in.
GLOW TRIO
I adore the Westm Atelier products I have tried, but they are pricey. This set has 3 of their bestselling products and it lets you try them without committing to the full sizes and spending the big bucks. Also, if you already love them, this is a great set for travel. It comes in 2 color options.
