SUMMER READING LIST 2020

SUMMER READING LIST 2020 | I am sharing my summer reading list 2020, including some fun and fluffy beach reads as well as some murder mysteries. Enjoy!

THE UNHONEYEMOONERS
This  book is a romantic comedy that is laugh-out-loud funny at times and a fun and quick read. When everyone at her sister’s wedding comes down with food poisoning, including the bride &  groom, Olive is forced to take the honeymoon trip with her nemesis Ethan Thomas. It is a romance for anyone who has ever felt unlucky in love.

PRETTY THINGS

Two wildly different women – one a grifter, the other an heiress – are brought together by the scam of a lifetime in a pause-resister from the New York Times best-selling author of Watch Me Disappear. The veviews are great and we can’t wait to read this one!

THE NANTUCKET INN

Lisa Hodges needs to make a decision fast. Thanks to her dead husband’s gambling addiction, their savings is almost gone. In her early fifties with a large, waterfront home on Nantucket to support, Lisa hasn’t worked in over thirty years, has no in-demand skills and is virtually unemployable. She decides to open a bed & breakfast and it has an impact on almost everyone in her family. It’s the first book in a new series that will follow the Hodges family, friends, and visitors to Nantucket’s Beach Plum Cove Inn.

UNTAMED

This book is not fluffy.  Rather, it is packed with incredible insight about what it means to be a woman today. In her most revealing and powerful memoir yet, the activist, speaker, bestselling author, and “patron saint of female empowerment” (People) explores the joy and peace we discover when we stop striving to meet others’ expectations and start trusting the voice deep within us. Untamed will liberate women—emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

A HAPPY CATASTROPHE

Marnie MacGraw and Patrick Delaney have been in love for a few years now, enough to realize that they are imperfectly perfect together. Still, there are some things that maybe need a little attention. Marnie’s ebullient; he’s brooding. She thrives on change; he prefers stability. She sees marriage and parenthood in their future, but he can’t see beyond the shadow of an earlier tragedy. But some love stories are worth waiting for. And what’s love without a little chaos anyway?

THE GUEST LIST

On an island off the coast of Ireland, guests gather to celebrate two people joining their lives together as one. On an island off the coast of Ireland, guests gather to celebrate two people joining their lives together as one. But perfection is for plans, and people are all too human. Who didn’t wish the happy couple well? And perhaps more important, why?
