What better way to spend the extra time we all have at home than playing with a little makeup? I ordered some new makeup products the other week and shared my Sephora haul with you guys. Some were hits and some were misses. I created a fresh spring makeup look for your guys with the products that I loved over on Instagram, so pop on over there to check it out. Here are the product details for the tutorial and I share why I love these products in a bit more detail in this post. Hopefully, this will give you some new spring makeup ideas to freshen up your makeup bag. In general, my best advice is to stick to your basic makeup wardrobe with the products that work best for you, and then add a couple of new products to keep up with the seasons, new spring makeup trends.

Personally, I think a new blush and a new lip are the easiest and most affordable way to do that. I am sharing my favorite new spring beauty products and how to use them in a tutorial over on my Instagram , so hop on over there to check it out. Without further ado, here are my new favorite Spring makeup products.
A FRESH SPRING MAKEUP LOOK

NYX BUTTER GLOSS “Summer Fruit” | I love the butter glosses and this one packs a fun and fruity punch, perfect for Spring. It is a bright pink that can be layered up for high impact bold color or I like to use it more like a stain. I pop it on wipe it off and top with this gloss that is quickly becoming a new favorite!
TARTE MARACUJA GLOSSY LIP OIL | This has very quickly become my new favorite gloss. It feels so good on the lips and gives the sheerest pop of pink color. I especially love it layered over the NYX gloss mentioned above. The perfect pink spring lip combo.
STILA CONVERTIBLE COLOR “Petunia” | I have had this product in my kit and personal makeup bag for years. It is a great blush for more mature skin and gives the perfect flush of color to your lips and cheeks. I share the best way to apply it in my tutorial over on Instagram. My other favorite year round color is “Lilium”
CHARLOTTE TILBURY BLUSH ” Love Glow” | I always buy a new blush in the spring. I am not sure why, but it just feels like such a spring beauty item to me. This one is perfection. Sheer and glow with the perfect amount of fresh pink on your cheeks. It is not too pigmented so you can’t really mess it up and you won’t end up with a big blob of color on your face. I have not stopped wearing it since I got it the other week.
TARTE MASCARA | I love this mascara, because it leaves my lashes looking full and long without clumping. It is definitely a favorite. However, I try to buy it whenever it is on sale, because this momma does not like dropping $23.00 on a tube of mascara. Am I right!?
HOURGLASS VANISH CONCEALER “Cedar” | When a product is this good and it does what is says it will do, I do not mind spending the money. This concealer does everything it promises and stays put without creasing. It has a thin consistency which makes it easy to work with, but it is highly pigmented, so you need very little. Once you apply it, it stays put without creasing and you don’t need to set it with powder. It is a game change, especially more more mature women.
BOBBI BROWN GEL LINER “Chocolate Shimmer” | I have been a fan of this gel liner for years and it is the only liner I use on my brides. Once applied, it does not budge. I love this shade for spring. It still has depth, but is a bit softer than my usual black. I don’t wear much eye makeup but I always do liner and mascara and this one is so pretty. It flatters everyone!
PIXI ROSE FLASH BALM | This had been laying in my drawer for months before I finally pulled it out again a couple of weeks ago. I am so glad I did and it has been my go-to primer ever since. It is hydrating and really perks up your skin. I also felt like it made my face look tighter and brighter all night long. Not sure I imagined it, but it has kept me using it and loving it ever since.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY BRONZE AND GLOW DUO | I did not need this bronzer and highlighter duo at all, but I really WANTED it. I am sp glad I purchased it. The bronzer is perfect and so flattering, you can’t really mess it up and the highlighter is so pretty. I use it on my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose and also on my eyelids as an eye shadow. It is simply gorgeous and perfect for mature women with no sparkle in sight.
BOBBI BROWN SHIMMER BRICK “Pink Quartz”| Another product I have had for years but I love it especially in the spring. It lease a perfect, ethereal glow on your skin and I use this as a highlighter, eyeshadow and used it in this tutorial over my stila cream blush to set it and add a little sheen. Also, it lasts forever. I have had mine for a couple of years and have not dented it with regular use.
IT COSMETICS CC CREAM “Light” | Is there anything left to say about this stuff? It is one of my holy grail makeup products. l can’t live without it and use it almost daily. It contains Spf 50 sunscreen and lots of other skin loving ingredients. I use this and the Bye Bye Foundation interchangeably and don’t notice much of a difference between the two.
IT COSMETICS AIRBRUSH SMOOTHING FOUNDATION BRUSH | This brush was included in a deal on HSN where you got 2 full sized foundation and the brush came with it. I typically do not apply this foundation with a brush, but I liked the flawless finish it left on my skin and it made the application seem more sheer than usual, which I liked for his makeup look.
I hope you enjoyed this post and tutorial and it provided a bit of a distraction from everything that is going on in the world. Stay safe and healthy out there and just remember, we will come out of this on the other side.
Sending love and light your way. XO,
