MY BEST 18 BEAUTY PRODUCTS OF 2019 | I am sharing my best and new favorite beauty products from the last year with you on today's blog post.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had a wonderful time ringing in a new decade. Today I am sharing my best 18 beauty products of 2019 with you all. These are all the best makeup and skincare products I have discovered in the past year, plus a few bonus products that didn’t make the final cut, but were close. This list of beauty products is always one of my most popular posts of the year and a really nice way to look back on another year of blogging. The round-up includes products from all across the board, including drugstore and high end products. I am not a product snob. If something works well for me, I don’t care if it costs $10, or $100, and there are many wonderful inexpensive products on the market. However, If something is expensive, but it works, I consider myself a worthwhile investment. 😉

MY BEST 18 BEAUTY PRODUCTS OF 2019 | I am sharing my best and new favorite beauty products from the last year with you on today's blog post.

If you are wondering, why some of my most talked products are not on this list, it is because they have been included in previous years. You can see last year’s Best of Beauty Roundup here. It includes the GloPro, the best drugstore foundation I still wear all the time, and my Revlon Blow Dryer. Oh and only the best overall concealer ever, that I still love and swear by. Without further ado, let’s get this party started….

MY BEST 18 BEAUTY PRODUCTS OF 2019 | I am sharing my best and new favorite beauty products from the last year with you on today's blog post.

SILK PILLOWCASE | My husband calls this my princess pillow. It is one of the best anti-aging things you can do for your skin and hair. It helps reduce friction and is therefore so much gentler on your skin and hair, preventing split ends and wrinkling. Further, it doesn’t absorb all of your expensive serums and lotion you apply at night. Silk is naturally antibacterial and repels dust mites. There are lots of cheaper options, which . have tried in the past, but you can really see the and feel the quality with this one. Considering how much time we spend sleeping, it is a worthwhile investment. If you are trying a cheaper version, just make sure it is actual silk and not another material like satin.

PEACH & LILY SERUM | I love, love, love this serum. It has really calmed my skin and given it the “glass like” appearance it promises. I am not sure how it works, but after a couple of weeks, I really saw a huge difference when looking in the mirror. The label promises skin that is poreless, translucent, and luminous like a pane of glass. And I have to say, it delivers. The serum is silky, weightless, and instantly-absorbing, Peach & Lily’s Glass Skin Refining Serum helps hydrate, calm, brighten and firm, delivering more dramatic results with continued use. I use this morning and night and use my derma roller immediately after applying this at night. I will never be without it again.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY MAGIC EYE RESCUE CREAM | This stuff is magic, just like the title says. It is rich & hydrating, without being too rich and fights fine lines and wrinkles like a boss, with a powerful anti aging ingredients that also firm and tighten the eye area. A small jar lasts a really long time. I finally ran out of all of my samples and immediately purchased the full size.

BECCA UNDER EYE PRIMER | Becca has become one of my new favorite brands this year. I discovered this stuff through another makeup artist and it has truly changed concealer application for me. This primer really helps to make concealer go on smoothly with less caking and drying. This is an especially big struggle for women my age. So many of you agree with me, that this product is life changing. It also prevents concealer creasing all day and you can really feel it work to wake up and depuff your eyes after applying it. More is more with this stuff so don’t be shy.

LASH BOOST | You guys, I really did not want to like it because…..$155.00. However, this stuff really works!!!! I can’t believe the difference in my lashes.  I get so many compliments and questions about my eyelashes now and they were so puny before. The tube lasts about 4 month with daily use and it is still cheaper than lash extensions, so I think this is worth every. single. penny. As we age, our lashes tend to be more sparse and in turn make us look tired and older. This serum is a gamechanger and a key product to look more youthful.  It works on brows as well.  I use mine at night before bed  I keep it on my nightstand so I don’t forget) and brush it directly onto the base of my lashes and the rest onto my brows. You will see a difference in just a few weeks if used consistently.  If you don’t have a R +F rep yet, my sweet friend Kelly will gladly help you out and has so kindly offered you all $20.00 off to give  Lash Boost a try.  It comes with a 60 day risk free money back guarantee, but I am hooked.

TARTE SHADOW PALETTE | This was my most used palette last year on clients and myself alike.  It has a great combination of neutral, matte and shimmery shades that can create a large variety of looks from natural to dramatic.  The pigment payoff is great and it is easy to work with.  Plus, it smells great. Weird, I know!

BUTTER BRONZER | This is the perfect bronzer, in my opinion. It has no sparkle or shimmer and no red undertones. It comes in a variety of shades and give me a sunkissed glow all year long. I use the Light Bronzer shade in the winter and the Bronzer shade in the summer. It also smells just like you are on vacation and the price is right – under $20.00.

L’OREAL LUMI GLOWTION | I have talked about this stuff endlessly, but it is truly one of the best highlighters and all around beauty products, especially for dry and mature skin. It is an amazing highlighter, but I also love its versatility. You can mix it with moisturizer for glowing skin, mix it with your foundation for a dewy look and even mix it with body lotion to turn your pasty winter skin into a glowing goddess and camouflage all of your lumps and bumps. Great on collarbones & legs for date night as well.

DANIEL SANDLER WATER BLUSH | The most perfect blush for everyone, but especially dry and mature skin.  It is so pretty and leaves your skin with an ethereal glow.  I also love that it is so easy to use.  A drop or to blended onto the apples of your cheeks is all you need to look rested and glowing.  My personal favorite shades are Cherub and Angel, but they are all gorgeous.  Just remember to shake the bottle well before using.  A small bottle will last a really long time.

MILANI GLOSS | This and the Neutrogena hydro boost are my favorite drugstore glosses. The Hydroboost was on my Best of Beauty list last year. These glosses feel great on the lips. They are light and nourishing, without feeling sticky and have a nice minty flavor. My favorite shades are Blush and Prismatic Peach. I also love the application wand and the packaging looks really high end.

EYELURE PRE-GLUED LASHES | These pre-glued lashes take the guesswork out of false lashes and are so easy and fun. They are perfect for event makeup, or if you are getting your picture taken. I personally prefer the 003, as they are the most natural looking for my smallish eyes, but they come in a variety of styles and are under $5.00. Each pair can be used a few times.

BECCA FIRST LIGHT PRIMER | I use this stuff on all skin types, but if your skin is on the drier side, this primer will be your new best friend.  It really wakes up and brightens your skin and gets it prepped for makeup. Cool light technology and a lavender pearl complex combat dullness and minimize imperfections for a brighter, refreshed complexion. Formulated with prickly pear, sodium hyaluronate and energizing ginger, skin is plumped and hydrated for all day makeup wear. I can’t live without it. One pump will do ya’ so it lasts quite a while.

TINKLE RAZORS | You all loved these little razors as well last year. They were one of my most popular items on my blog. These razors are great for getting rid of peach fuzz on your face and exfoliating your skin and are so inexpensive. A great alternative to expensive dermaplaning treatments at the salon, I share my at home dermaplaning tutorial here. They are an essential tool for having your makeup look great and prepping skin properly.

LIVING PROOF DETOX SHAMPOO | I don’t talk about hair a ton on the blog, partially because I feel I am no expert at all in that area, but there are certain products that I discover that make the struggle a bit easier. I am an avid dry shampoo user and this stuff is great to get your hair clean after days of not washing it and product build-up, without stripping your expensive salon color. I use this most days, as I don’t wash my hair too often. I usually alternate between his one and this one and have found it works best for my hair.

CITY BEAUTY HYDRA MASK | I have not used a lot of sheet masks, because I just don’t love them. They feel slimy and cold and I have never felt that they did that much for me. I have gotten much better results from regular masks. Until this mask entered my life. Truth be told, these sat on my shelf for a quite a bit and I am not sure what eventually made me try these, but I am so glad I did.  You guys, they are so, so good. Loaded with hydrating and anti-aging serum, I can see a huge difference when I use them. They really soothe and hydrate my skin and calm down my redness. They are worth every penny and have cumulative effects, meaning the more often you do them, the better the better the  results will be. They are expensive, so I do them less often than . would like, but they are totally worth it.  I like to do an exfoliating mask first and then follow up with one of  these for maximum effect.

ADVANCED CLINICALS RETINOL CREAM | Retinol for your whole body? Makes total sense, when it is this affordable. This cream is the best anti aging body lotion and works wonders on crepiness and firming skin, when used consistently. I noticed a big difference after about a month and I have never looked back. You get 2 large tubs for $18.00, which for me is about a 2 month supply. I also use this on my face at night. SO many of you have messaged me how much you loved it too and I am so glad I discovered this gem. Apparently it is now available at Walmart as well for a cheaper prices (around $6.oo a jar) so grab one next time you are there.

COVERGIRL SHADOW STICKS | I just discovered these in the last month. They are literally identical to my beloved Laura Mercier Caviar sticks at a fraction of the cost. They are so user friendly and last all day long. I have it on good authority that these are literally made in the same place as the caviar sticks and they just slap different labels on them. Even the packaging is the same. Save yourself some money and pick up a few of these at Ulta. I have not been able to find them anywhere else.

NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST SUNSCREEN | I discovered this last January when I need sunscreen for a girl’s trip to the Bahamas and there was not a lot to choose from. This stuff feels doesn’t feel anything like sunscreen, but more like a hydrating lotion. It leave no white cast and hydrates your skin for up to 8 hours. It works great on sensitive skin. I can even use it on my face under makeup with no issues. It soaks right in and feels like you are not wearing anything at all. It is now a staple in my purse and I use it on my hands while driving and during my kids sports games until it comes back out full force this summer.

These are my best 18 beauty products of 2019. There are a couple that didn’t make the list, but were close to making the cut, so I will give them an honorable mention now.

O’KEEFES HEALTHY FEET & PUMICE | I always struggled with dry feet and the combination of these 2 products changed that. I use the pumice block in the shower and then slather on the cream and cotton socks after. My feet are always sandal ready now (except for polish, eek).

DERMELECT PEPTIDES NAIL MAKEOVER | I use and love this polish when my nails need a break. It hides flaws, smoothes out ridges and makes nails look healthy again. It is designed as a basecoat, but I use it as a regular polish. It is so pretty on its own. I apply 2 coats and then one coat of the Essie gel couture top coat for the easiest manicure on the planet. Anyone can do it. With continued use, the peptide infused formula helps to strengthen and restore nails that have been abused my too many gel manis, or simple neglect.

THE MAKEUP ERASER | This is a great tool to take off your makeup with using only water. It literally takes off everything and is a great choice for sensitive skin, as you are eliminating products and using only water. Further, it helps save the planet and eliminate waste from cotton pads and makeup wipes. Just throw it in the wash and you are good to go. I recommend having a few on hand, so you can go a few days in a row without having to wash them.

MILANI SHADOW PALETTE | This shadow palette is such a good palette for the money and looks so much more high end. It has a great variety of matte and shimmer shades to create many different looks and the quality for the price is amazing. A great drugstore makeup buy if you are on a budget.

I hope you enjoyed this rather long post of my best 18 beauty products of 2019 and find something new to love. What are some of your favorite beauty discoveries of the past year? Leave a comment below and share them. I would love to know.

  1. Thanks to you, I tried several of these products this year and have a few more on my to-buy list. Thanks for great recommendations! I was wondering if you’d be interested in putting together a tutorial–either here or on insta stories–about different variations of using the tarte eye shadow palette. I have it (and love it–including the smell!), but I often wonder if I am combining/layering various colors correctly.

  2. I haven’t tried Dermelect nail products, however, I have tried a few of their products such as Lipo Conquer Bosy Tonibg Cream, Runway Ready Foot Treatment also a clear lip plumping lipgloss all purchased from fff add-on/edit sales. Also, the Make up eraser was in the winter box. I’m really not impressed with Dermelect, however, I am interested in trying the nail product that you mentioned. As for the Make up eraser, I’m not sold on it. I have heard the positive same feedback from my friends who swear by it. I think it’s a great way to avoid using makeup wipes, etc. I still use only 100% white cotton wash clothes and a oil make up remover any then a facial cleanser. I have to try the glow pro that you swear by before doing injections/fillers
