As I am writing this, it is snowing and sleeting outside. These cold winter temps have really kicking my skin’s butt, and I am not alone, because I have gotten so many questions about moisturizers, so I am rounding up all the best winter moisturizers for dry, sensitive skin today. These are all tried-and-true favorites, including some clean, and budget friendly options.
THE BEST WINTER MOISTURIZERS FOR DRY, SENSITIVE SKIN

CHARLOTTE TILBURY MAGIC CREAM | Rich & hydrating, it is the perfect moisturizer for this time of year. The cream soaks right into the skin and leaves it soft and hydrated and ready for makeup. It is on the pricier side but a little bit goes a long way, so the large jar lasts quite some time.
PTR CLOUD CREAM | This cream is so unique and hydrating. When applied, it is like a cooling gel and the 30% hyaluronic acid really plumps my skin and intensely hydrates for up to 72 hours. On the days I use it, I can really really feel the difference in my skin feeling plumper and softer later in the day.
DE LALA RETRO | This whipped goodness is so soothing and gentle and is safe for the most sensitive of skins. It contains 6 different oils and ceramides, which is great for barrier repair. This is also a great option if you have overdone it on the acids, or have windburn from being on the slopes. It is very repairing and soothing and the unique packaging dispenses the right amount each time and keeps the cream germ free.
CLINIQUE MOISTURE SURGE |Another moisturizer that contains one of my favorite ingredients. Bursting with hyaluronic acid, nature’s perfect moisture magnet, it works non-stop for 72 hours-even after washing your face. It is also suitable for sensitive skin, is allergy tested, fragrance and paraben free.
EUCERIN Q10 ANTI WRINKLE CREAM | Touted as a LaMer dupe, this cream is rich and luxurious and such a bargain. I have this on auto-ship so I never run out. It is a great wrinkle fighter for sensitive skin & rosacea, containing antioxidants, beta carotene, and vitamin E. You can buy 20 jars of this for the price of one jar of LaMer. Yes, please!
IT COSMETIC SECRET SAUCE | I just love the name of this cream. I recently received a sample of this and LOVED it. I would definitely purchase the full size of this, after I run out of my other moisturizers. It is a rich cream that gives skin a youthful glow. It contains peptides, collagen and hyaluronic acid and hydrates beautifully, without leaving skin feeling greasy.
LANEIGE WATER BANK CREAM | This korean brand has quickly become one of my favorites. I loved the lip mask and the reviews for this cream were amazing, so I had to give it a try. This cream is affordable and does absolutely everything it promises, leaving your complexion hydrated and balanced.
DE MARULA OIL | I had to include this oil in the line-up, even though i is not technically a moisturizer. I can’t live without this stuff in the winter time and on really cold days, I add a drop or 2 of this stuff to my moisturizer at night to give my skin an extra boost and glow. If you have a nut allergy, I would stay away from this.
REN EVERCALM | This overnight recovery balm is wonderful for soothing dry and irritated skin. It uses enzymatically activated oils to feed and moisturize the skin, strengthen the skins barrier, and relieve irritation. I take a pea sized amount, warm it up bewteen my hands and press it into my skin. It is wonderul and a great option if you are looking for clean, non-toxic products.
CERAVE CREAM | I would be remiss not to mention this tub of goodness in this post. This is a simple, wonderful product that can be used all over the body and the face to keep skin soothed and protected. Dermatologist recommended, this cream is fragrance free and works great for the whole family. Slap it anywhere your skin is in need of a little tlc. This has been part of my professional kit for years as well and their eye cream is also a fabulous affordable option.
I hope this post helps keeps your skin healthy and happy this winter.
XO,

In the winter, my skin definitely needs something extra . I just hate that tight skin feeling! I use Albolene (technically a makeup remover) in addition to a thick moisturizer OR something with hyaluronic acid.
I have heard about that. I will need to try it.
