Apple Picking With My Sons
My boys had a couple of days off from school the other week, so we planned a couple of fun excursions. I decided to take them apple picking one day. We haven’t been since we moved here over 3 years ago and I thought it was the perfect Fall activity. Honestly, as my boys are getting older, I find my time with them so fleeting and it hurts my heart a little bit.
Watching My Sons Grow
My oldest son will be heading off to college in a couple of years and it is so bittersweet to see them grow and thrive, yet getting more and more independant and needing me less.
I am very lucky that my sweet boys still love spending time with me and we had so much fun on this day that I wanted to share it with you.
The Perfect Age for Apple Picking
I thought my boys were the perfect age. They could actually reach the apples and carry their own bags and they thoroughly enjoyed it. We all noticed so many stressed out moms chasing little kids around and couldn’t help but chuckle, and feel a little bad for all of the poor moms.
Visiting Baugher’s Orchard
We went to Baugher’s Orchard in Westminster, MD and it is the perfect place for apple picking. ou take a tractor ride through the apple orchards, which is a quaint and scenic journey through the fields. They also offer pumpkin picking with a hayride, though we didn’t try that on our visit.
On weekends, there are plenty of kid-friendly activities to enjoy, and a country store to explore. Everyone there was super friendly, and we ended our day with hot apple cider, apple cider donuts and 35 pounds of Apples. It was a great day, that we will all remember.

I wanted to share my outfit details with you, because it was the perfect comfy and cozy Fall outfit.
Leggings: The Star of the Show
The leggings were the star of the show. They are amazing leggins and a recent find. I got 2 pairs and have NOT taken them off since getting them. Unlike the amazon leggings I love, these are a little dressier and have pockets. They are fleece lined and so warm, perfect for chilly mornings, and so cozy. I can tuck my phone into the pockets and I don’t need to carry my purse. I also purchased them in grey. They are currently on sale for $31.00.

The shoes you have seen me wear a ton of times and they go with so many things. They have memory foam inside, which makes them super comfortable.
The sweatshirt is sold out, but J.Crew Factory always has cute graphic options. I am currently loving this one, and it makes me want to literally go rent a cabin. (This one is also cute). It is the perfect sweatshirt for the upcoming season.

I always like to add a denim shirt. It adds a layer of warmth, dresses up my outfit just a tad, and covers my bum when wearing leggins. This shirt was so affordable and is a year round closet staple.
