I had a ton of questions from you guys about my current shade of nail polish, so I thought I would compile a list of my favorite nail polish shades for Fall 2019. The one currently on my nails is included, don’t worry. As some of you may know, 99% of the time I do my own nails and I have mastered the DIY manicure pretty well. I share my best tips and products in this blog post.
I am generally pretty boring when it comes to nail polish colors and I always rotate between similar shades. You will never find me doing funky colors, nail art or even shimmer polish. My go-to’s for Fall are rich and glossy shades of neutrals, deep reds, berries and greys. My favorite brand of polish is Essie Gel Couture. I love how the shape of the brushes makes application so easy. However, they have a limited shade selection, so my second favorite brand is OPI Infinite Shine. Both brands give you a gel like, glossy finish without the need to cure under a light and an arduous removal process. They simply come off with nail polish remover. If you get your nails done at a salon, most, if not all of these shades come in gel polish as well.

A deep eggplant purple shade with no shimmer.
OPI DON’T BOSSA NOVA ME AROUND
My favorite wintery neutral with lavender undertones. So pretty.
A dark midnight purple. This has been a favorite for years.
A dark blood red. Great for the holidays.
A charcoal grey color without shimmer.
A sophisticated, dark onyx.
A rich, dark burgundy shade.
A deep, rich navy shade and about as adventurous as I am going to get.
I wear this polish all year round. The perfect sheer neutral and always appropriate.
A taupey brown neutral. (I am currently wearing this)
