To me, the sign of a good piece of clothing is when you put it on and forget about it. You know it works. You look and feel fabulous in it and are ready to take on the day. Today, I am sharing one of those perfect wardrobe staples with you. Meet the perfect black pant for women 40+. They are perfect in every way. They fit like a glove and they make me feel fabulous.
You all know, how much I love my Spanx faux leather leggings, but you can’t wear leggings all the time. (Or can you?) Well, I am thrilled to report that Spanx has come out with the perfect black pants for women my age, and for every occasion. They look just as fabulous with a leopard blouse and some heels on date night, as they do with a pair of sneakers and a sweatshirt for a saturday soccer game. They will take you from school meetings, to errand running and everything in between. In other words, they are perfection, and I am obsessed.

They are a pull-on style, just like the leggings, but the back pockets make them refined and polished looking to wear to work with a dressy blouse and blazer. Since I do not work in an office, I love to wear these from anything to lunch, running errands, meetings, weekend soccer, you name it. They are super comfy and look amazing. More importantly, I feel fabulous and confident when I wear them.

Just like my beloved leggings, they suck you in in all the right places and smooth out all of your lumps and bumps, including that little mom pooch in the front. I also love the hem on these pants. The fact that they flare out ever so slightly and aren’t a super skinny fit on the bottom make them less legging like and more pant like, which adds to the refined look, in my opinion.

I have already worn them a bunch this season and I don’t plan on quitting. You can see here, I pulled a few basics from my closet and they just work together. You can never go wrong with a good tee and denim jacket and you have seen this jacket in numerous posts as well. I have owned it for at least 5 years and I love it. It is softer than a regular denim jacket and the dark color and slimmer fit make it so flattering.

I bought these wedges in the Spring and they were perfection. So comfy, easy to take get on and off, and I just love the way they look and elongate my leg. They still look brand new and I get compliments almost every time I wear them. They are another must-have staple in my closet.
