Easy Breezy Summer Style

Summer is my absolute favorite season. I love everything about it, the leisurely pace, the warm weather, beach and pool trips, long girlfriend lunches outdoors and the easy breezy summer style that comes along with it. I live in dresses during the hot summer months, which you may have noticed if you follow me on Instagram. Every outfit I have posted in the past few weeks has been a dress. I love the ease of getting dressed in the morning, including this summer favorite. The linen fabric keeps me cool and comfy and it can be styled in many different ways. I also love that it has pockets. It is a true summertime favorite.

You may also wonder what undergarments I am wearing here. To me, having to wear one of those padded strapless push-up bras under these types of clothes defeats the whole purpose of dressing in looser and cooler clothing. Those bras are so freaking uncomfortable!!! Well, since it is my life mission to be cute and comfy, I have figured out the perfect solution. This bra is actually comfortable and keeps my girls in place. have a bit of a larger chest and this bra has medical grade elastics to help it stay put. If I need a bit of extra coverage, I use these nipple covers and the bra together. This combo literally solves 99% of my dress dilemmas during the summer. I am wearing both here and you can see, it works. If I do need to wear one of those bullet proof strapless bras, I have found this one to be the best.

I have shared these shoes before, but they are so so cute and comfy and I had to share them again. The sole is slightly padded, which makes them comfortable to walk in and provides a bit of a cushion. I can’t get over the bow detail and I love the color. They are also surprisingly versatile.

The Sunnies and bag have also been on repeat. The bag is roomy enough for all of my stuff and has a long strap. The sunnies are so cute and I get a ton of compliments on them.

Dock bars and Orange Crushes are iconic to Maryland summers and you truly feel like you are on vacation when you are enjoying a leisurely drink at one of these places. Dock bares can be accessed by boat (hence the name) or car, but it is way more fun to head to a dock bar during happy hour in your boat and then enjoy a nice orange crush and a crab cake sandwich in the casual outdoor deck seating.
