This is my current favorite spring casual outfit. Getting dressed this time of year can be tricky. It can be freezing in the morning and scorching hot by the afternoon. Throw in some rain showers and you have got yourself the perfect spring weather curveball. (Which actually happened the day we shot these pics.) My tendency is to grab a jeans and t-shirt combo with a light jacket but that can get boring. I was thrilled to have found some cute pants that are actually something other than jeans, and a lightweight sweater that is perfect for this time of year and will go swimmingly with my trustee denim in blue and white. This sweater would also look adorable with denim shorts.
MY FAVORITE CASUAL SPRING OUTFIT
I love these pants and was thrilled to find a jeans alternative. Don’t get me wrong, I love my jeans and live in my white ones as well, but it is nice to have other options sometimes. They are so cute and soft and I love the button details on the pockets. The length is perfect with these wedge sneakers.

These are the most worn shoes currently in my closet. There are tons of dupes out there, but I ordered the real thing and they are worth every single cent. They fit much better and are way more comfortable than the cheaper counterpart. I love saving a buck, but in some cases it pays to invest a bit more in a staple item.
It was the perfect day in my little town. It was warm and sunny and I had a lovely lunch with my friend Megan at the Iron Rooster. (If you are ever in Annapolis, it should be on your must try list.) When we came out, the weather quickly changed and it poured buckets. I am so glad I scotch guarded these shoes. It literally saved them. I am also glad, we got in these photos beforehand.

Have a great rest of your week everyone! What are your plans for easter? In true spring fashion, we are expecting some rain and “dangerous” weather conditions, so I will have to hold off on my patio refresh a bit longer.
