Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Ours was busy. My son had his play, we had our monthly dinner club, which was so much fun, and we ended the weekend with a basketball game, followed by burgers with the boys. We started off the week with another snow delay today, so I already feel behind 😳.
I have been working on a commercial project last week and this week, so the blog has been a bit neglected, but I did want to share this amazing bodysuit with you today. I mentioned it in my February Favorites, and I love it so much that it deserves its very own, dedicated blog post.

A few other bloggers raved about this bodysuit so I had to order it. I remember loving bodysuits the first time around (now I feel old). Generally, I think the cut is super flattering on almost all body types. The ruching at the front hides the lumps and bumps and the black color is very forgiving. It really camouflages my mommy muffin top.

I have a short waist and getting things to not look bulky when they are tucked in, can be a challenge for me. This suit completely eliminates that problem. There is no tucking whatsoever, which I love. It looks so cute with jeans but is also fabulous paired with a skirt, or even dress pants for the office. I share a few ways to wear it in my Instastories. The fabric is so soft and comfortable, I feel like I am wearing pajamas. It is sexy without being too revealing and I love the leopard belt with it to up the sexy factor just a bit more. In short, it is the perfect date night top and I will be wearing it on Valentine’s Day for my date with the hubs.

My Go-To Date Night Outfit
Even on date night, I feel most confident in a pair of killer jeans, so this is the perfect outfit for me. It is a dressier version of my daily mom uniform, consisting of jeans and a t-shirt. Here, I simply paired my trustee jeans with the bodysuit, a leopard print belt and my favorite new heels. I don’t wear heels much anymore, but I own these in both colors and they work with absolutely everything. I think they are a worthwhile investment for sure.

I love the versatility of this suit and I am sure it will be a staple in my closet for some time to come. The comfort is truly unrivaled and I love, love, love that I don’t have to worry about it staying tucked in and looking bulky around the waist. (I really want to try this one now as well.) From wearing it on date night, to pairing it with a blazer and pants for the office, the possibilities are truly endless and I am so glad I found this piece.
