Happy Friday! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I hosted girl’s night recently. We had so much fun sipping my Pink French 75 cocktail, munching on treats and just having some good old fashioned girl time. We also played a fun game called, “That’s What She Said“. It is kind of a naughty version of “Apples to Apples” and will have you laughing out loud. (You can check out my Instastories for some fun outtakes.) Also check out my post on Instagram, where I am giving away 2 sets of the game to play at your next gathering. How fun is that?

I always love making a cocktail for these gatherings, as most of my girlfriends are not wine drinkers (not sure why we are even friends….😉) For this particular night, I really wanted something pink and super girly, so I created my own and came up with the Pink French 75 Cocktail. I don’t believe in fussy cocktails and usually only use 3-4 ingredients. This came out perfect and everyone loved it. You can make it with gin or vodka, depending on your preference. The key to this cocktail is the fresh lemon juice. Enjoy!
THE PINK FRENCH 75 COCKTAIL RECIPE
2 ounces Gin or Vodka
1 ounce Elderflower liqueur
1 ounce fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 ounces pink, sparkling rosé
*lemon slices for garnish
Pour gin, elderflower and lemon juice in a shaker and combine.
Pour into cocktail glasses and top with chilled pink sparkling rosé.
Serve immediately and garnish with a lemon slice

Do you have any fun weekend plans? It is supposed to rain for part of it, so I am thinking family movie night and maybe a lazy brunch at home, before heading to some soccer games. Cheers to the weekend.
