In honor of Earth Day this past weekend, I rounded up some of my favorite green beauty products for you. I am slowly trying to make the switch to cleaner beauty and these products are all personal favorites of mine. I am sure there are a bunch of other fabulous products out there, but these are the ones I have tried and love, so I feel good about recommending them to you. If you have any other amazing recommendations, I would love to hear them. Enjoy!
SKINCARE:
DRUNK ELEPHANT PRODUCTS// I love, love, love this line and was telling a friend the other day, if I had to pick just one line to use for the rest of my life, it would be this one. Their products are all phenomenal and super clean. I love them all, but if I had to pick just 2, it would be their Framboos Glycolic night serum and their C-Firma day serum, which is also a more budget friend option for my beloved Skinceuticals C E ferulic.
ONE LOVE ORGANICS// Again, love this line and the packaging. I am partial to their cleansing sponges and their Skin Savior balm in the winter time. I love that most of their products are multi functional. A little bit goes a long way and many of their products can be used in multiple ways. The Skin Savior, for example is a cleanser and a moisturizer and will turn your mineral powder into a glowing foundation treatment.(Genius) Their exfoliator, can also be mixed with yoghurt and used as a mask.
BOOTS BOTANICS// This line is super affordable and readily available at Target and Walgreens. Not all products are 100% organic, but a lot of them have clean ingredients. My favorite is their facial oil and I talk more about it here in my Makeup Dupes Post. I also love this balm as a primer under foundation to give my skin an extra glow-y boost.
WELEDEA SKIN FOOD// This multi-use cream is excellent for so many things. I use on dry patches, and all over my son’s eczema prone body. It is a great moisturizer for extra dry skin in the winter and is ultra nourishing. It is rather thick, so a little goes a long way. It works great everywhere – face, hands, feet elbows, boo boo’s…..you get the idea.
SCHMIDTS DEODORANT// I have tried several natural deodorants and this is the only one that keeps me dry all day long. It comes in a variety of scents, but I am partial to the bergamot lime one. My one gripe is that it can be a bit rough to put on, but otherwise, I love it. I have sworn off chemical antiperspirant completely since finding this.
DR. BRONNER’S CASTILLE SOAP// This also comes in a liquid form and is great for so many things. I use it in the bath tub and the bar makes the best brush cleaner. It has a bit of coconut oil in it so it keeps skin moisturized and also breaks down foundations and concealers in your brushes to get them ultra clean and keep them in great condition. I bought my bar over a year ago and I still have half of it.
MAD HIPPY// This is more of a recent discovery and available for a reasonable price at Whole Foods and on Amazon. People are going crazy over this line and I recently had the opportunity to give it a try. I loved it. Definitely give it a go, next time your are picking up your groceries or placing an order on Amazon.
MAKEUP:
TATA HARPER VOLUMIZING LIP AND CHEEK TINT// These products are so clean, you can literally eat them. Tata lives on a farm in Vermont with her family and makes all of her products in small batches. I especially love this stuff, because it is so easy to use and gives the perfect fresh pop of color on your lips and cheeks. It is great for this time of year. Her resurfacing mask is absolutely amazing as well. You will see a huge difference in your skin after just one use.
JOSIE MARAN MASCARA// I am usually not a big believer in spending a lot of money on mascara, but if you are looking for a clean option, this one is fabulous. The argan oil give the lashes a rich, glossy look and the brush coats every single lash, making them look lush and full without clumping. It is a must if you have puny lashes like me.
BURTS BEES LIPSTICKS// I am a big fan of these ultra hydrating lipsticks. They come in many colors to choose from and feel so good on the lips. My favorite color is Peony Dew, a pinky neutral that is like your lips but better.
FOUND EYESHADOW PALETTE// Finding green makeup products that I like has been a bit of a struggle for me. I have always found that I had to compromise in a way and either use the “dirty” makeup, or not get the consistency or color payoff that I was looking for. I was pleasantly surprised by this eyeshadow palette. The colors are flattering, the texture is good, it is super affordable and available at Walmart. The best I have found so far.

Thanks for stopping by. I will definitely check out your blog.Always looking for good green beauty products.
Oooh, so many new products to try! I love Schmidt’s already, too. Found their lavender deodorant is VERY rough, but the rose one’s smoother – the charcoal one, too (was a little iffy about what that would smell like before I bought it, but it’s very nice).
Ahh! Good to know. I didn’t think to see is different scents had different textures. Will try the rose next. Thanks for the tip! xo
Learned about some new ones. Thanks!
You are welcome! xo
All of these products look great – I love it when brands do amazing makeup/beauty goods that are clean and green.

I agree!
Love this list! I have also been trying to clean up my skin care and make up products. I actually haven’t heard of a lot of these products, so I am excited to give some a try! I do use the Schmidt’s deodorant. I agree that it can be a little rough to put on. I still don’t feel that it works as well as my “dirty” deodorant, but so far it is one of the better natural ones that I have found. I also have some friends who really like the Jason’s brand deodorant. Thanks for all the suggestions!
I still want to try Native, but the Schmidt’s works great for me. Just threw out my dirty on e today!
Thanks for sharing, I’m pinning for later!
I’m always on the look out for new beauty products so thanks for sharing! I’ve been dying to try the Drunk Elephant line!!
